As any of you following along know I have wanted to redecorate my ranch office for over a year now. I was completely stymied by the space and just could not figure out how to achieve the brighter more feminine room I dreamed of. With dark wood paneled walls and beautiful yet muted upholstered furniture my office often felt…well kind of gloomy and cave like. Though some might love that vibe I really struggled to feel comfortable and inspired in the space. I considered white washing the beautiful wood walls, replacing the dark tiled floor with something lighter and earthier or abandoning the space altogether and letting someone else use it as their office.
