I’ve mentioned before how much I love finding a true artisanal treasure. The hunt, the discovery, thinking no one else knows about your very special treasure…until you tell the whole world about it of course. Etsy has made the hunt for handmade easier and more engaging than ever. I can spend hours cyber perusing all the beautiful shops and stores, seeking out that perfect something. The thing is, I just can’t bear to keep my findings to myself! So here’s January’s list of Artisanal Etsy finds curated by yours truly! Enjoy!

Morning Katherine! I too am an Etsy lover! Not being fond of going shopping often, I have found you can find anything on Etsy and shop to your hearts content, without ever leaving your home and I LOVE it! I am also a knitter and love the big knits too, I often find lovely yarn on Etsy also. I’m sure it doesn’t take the place of walking into that yarn shop though…..(one of my favorite things to do) and seeing all the eye candy they have to offer, but if you can’t get out or just don’t feel like going out, Etsy is the next best thing! Anything on your needles these days? Nothing on mine right now, but I hope to soon be creating away….one of my goals this year! I want to tell you how much I enjoy your blog and reading about all your adventures! Keep writing Katie! Always, Marcia

Would you share Josh’s famous biscuit recipe, or is it more of a family recipe?

    Good morning Katherine,

I tried to send a email, but your isn’t letting me. My name is Hunter Nall, and I work for a small a business in Texas called Morph. At Morph we make completely wooden eco-friendly handcrafted speakers. Our speakers are made with the earth in mind, allowing you to renew the sound of your music by using renewable sustainable energy! Our speakers are made using sustainably sourced wood, as well as reclaimed wood from construction waste and tree trimming services, keeping it out of our landfills.

Morph also uses proceeds from sales to invest in the planting of Trees. This is what is most important, to give back! Our product does not use electricity, which means it is a passive unit allowing you to take your music wherever you want, whenever you want. The speakers are easy to use, hard to break, battery free, water resistant, and no hassle is involved with connecting through Bluetooth or auxiliary cords. Ultimately the goal of Morph is to reduce our carbon footprint and encourage others to the same.

I know you are a mother, and we’ve had some feedback specifically from other moms, and that they love the simplicity of the speakers and the lack of electronics. Nothing is worse than picking a song, finding your speaker, and then it turns out it’s dead. All you have to do is sit your phone on these.

Our biggest mission through is to invest in the environment by plating trees. I waned to reach out and see if there was any possibility to be featured on your blog in the Lifestyle, Artisan Finds or Crafting area, and on your Instagram to help us with our mission and to gain more awareness. We are very small and don’t have the budget to pay for marketing, so we really try to find amazing people willing to help us grow. People who want to talk about the importance of using eco-friendly and sustainable products, and to raise the next generation up to see the value in that.

Morph is owned my a guy named Ellis, he is married with two kids and another on the way, and I just got engaged a few months ago. We are all in our mid twenties, so we have’t gotten to far in our careers. We are all doing what we are passionate about though. It was just them for the past few years, but they brought me on to help it grow and seek out new opportunities. I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to meet really cool and random unique people that I never would have met.

I would love the opportunity to explain the background of Morph and our products as well as elaborate on the opportunity to collaborate together somehow. I have a huge amount of respect for you as a mother, actress and person.

I hope to speak with you soon!:)

    Blessings,
    Hunter Nall
