I’ve mentioned before how much I love finding a true artisanal treasure. The hunt, the discovery, thinking no one else knows about your very special treasure…until you tell the whole world about it of course. In My Knitting Basket This Month

Katherine Heigl and yarns from her knitting basket
I recently walked into a lovely knitting store while in Jackson Hole WY and got totally carried away as I so often do among piles of beautiful fibers. I’m such an artisan junkie that I’ve managed to curate a pretty significant list of wonderful that I thought I’d share with you. With the holiday’s approaching I think the timing couldn’t be better. Here’s hoping you find something fantastic for everyone on your list, but most importantly, I hope you find something extra special for you!Continue Reading

As a young adult full of angst and deep, deep feelings I would sit down weeks in advance of the big day and start writing my mother poetry. Really profound, meaningful poetry that I hope she never, ever shares with anyone! When I started becoming more successful as an actor and could afford to buy my mother something fancy, we started making Bergdorf Goodman a Mother’s Day tradition.Continue Reading
