Delivery Day Essentials!

As my delivery day approached I started obsessing over what to bring with me for my two day hospital stay. I have never ever had to be hospitalized (thank heavens) and really had no idea what to expect. I’ve never been a big fan of hospitals, who is really, and the thought of being stuck in one of those tiny, hard beds in a tiny, airless room was completely stressing me out. Baby Boy Kelley!

My mother very graciously threw Josh and I the most beautiful and celebratory baby shower last weekend and I just had to share the details with you! She asked me for some direction on the decor and the vibe I was hoping for, so I headed straight to Pinterest to cultivate a look for the shower that spoke to not only the holidays, but also our mountain home in Utah where the baby will be born. I loved that my mom involved me and that I got to contribute my ideas. This Halloween I had to forgo hand made costumes and go the route of the busy working mom and buy them instead. Whether you’re a working mom or not, sometimes life gets a bit overwhelming and in order to stay balanced you gotta prioritize. Though I had every intention of making costumes and had even bought the material and patterns, I realized slaving away on my sewing machine behind closed doors was not how I wanted to spend my down time this October.
