I became aware of Poppys Collection after purchasing this totally adorable and durable sweat suit for Little Man from a pop up in my local promenade here in Toronto. The lady helping me in the pop up encouraged me to check out their website for more fabulous kid finds and once I did, I fell totally and completely in love with their curated list of wonderfulness. So I asked if they’d be willing to be a guest editor this month and share some wonderfulness with all of you! I just love the uniqueness of the collection and that everything is lovingly crafted by true artisans (you should all know how I feel about artisans by now!) It brings me so much joy to support small businesses, especially ones run by moms.  On top of all the good feels, I’m also getting handcrafted, unique and beautiful products to spoil my kiddos with. Home Office Space

While in Toronto I’ve had to figure a few things out in our temporary home to better support my family’s needs. Like adding a little girlie flare to the guest room that became my girls room once they arrived. Speaking of, once the kids descended I was forced to find and create a quite spot for myself where I could get some work done. Hence, the lovely and peaceful home office space I cobbled together. I borrowed a few pieces of furniture I found around our rented condo and purchases a couple of pretty accents from local shops. I’m pretty pleased with how the space turned out and have found it to be a perfect spot for working on the blog, writing, reading and generally getting inspired. I even ordered a couple of well fitting supportive nursing bras from Jenette.
They not only fit beautifully and made access a breeze but they made me feel beautiful too which is a real blessing to a new mom!
You might not know this, but I’m very serious about my bras! I kind of have to be. When I was a VERY underdeveloped 14 year old I actually prayed…and even fasted for a bigger bosom. Fearing prayer and fasting would not be enough I also cut out photos of Victoria’s Secret models from my mother’s catalog and pasted them into my diary with handwritten pleas for at least a B cup by summer to fill out a cute bikini. When I hear talk of intention work and the power of manifestation I always think back to my first experience doing both. Not only did I end up with a B cup by that summer, by the following I was well on my way to the DD cup I ended up with. I mean if that doesn’t make you an intention setting believer I don’t know what will. A word to the wise though. Make sure you’re very specific when setting those intentions. I forgot to mention that I’d like to skip the hips and ass of the well endowed. I also forgot to mention perky…ah well, can’t have it all right?
