Home Office Space

While in Toronto I’ve had to figure a few things out in our temporary home to better support my family’s needs. Like adding a little girlie flare to the guest room that became my girls room once they arrived. Speaking of, once the kids descended I was forced to find and create a quite spot for myself where I could get some work done. Hence, the lovely and peaceful home office space I cobbled together. I borrowed a few pieces of furniture I found around our rented condo and purchases a couple of pretty accents from local shops. I’m pretty pleased with how the space turned out and have found it to be a perfect spot for working on the blog, writing, reading and generally getting inspired. A Little Space to Call My Own

About a month before I found out I was pregnant I decided to turn the nursery into my craft room. I mean no one was using it right? Adalaide had moved out a year earlier and Josh and I weren’t planning to expand our family for at least another 6 months to a year so I figured why let the space just sit there empty and unused. Thankfully I did have the foresight not to make any big permanent changes so when baby boy Kelley arrives I can pretty easily convert the space back into a nursery. All though I love it so much as my craft room I’m not sure I’ll be able to give it up! Our boy may have to share his room with my sewing machine!
