See Ya Later Alli-Gaiter
In an earlier post I talked about the beautiful color dipped cowl I did as a potential Christmas gift for my 14 year old niece. The cowl ended up being way too big for her, so I had to come up with another gift that would be perfect. I ended up making her this gorgeous and extremely easy Garter Gaiter from… yup Purl Soho. I swear I am not being paid to endorse the store… though I would gladly take some free yarn if they want to throw a little love my way. 😉
I used Super Soft Merino in Pistachio Green and Heirloom White yarns to knit up this super quick and easy Garter Gaiter cowl for Maddie.
Cozy Winter Hat
The colors of the Gaiter ended up being so beautiful together and the perfect combo for a gorgeous young gal like Maddie, that I decided she needed a Cozy Winter Hat to go along with it. These monogrammed pompom hats were the perfect fit. They were so quick and easy to knit up I ended up doing one for Naleigh, Adalaide and my Dad. Each one took about an hour or two to make and another 20 minutes to monogram. I love them so much I might knit myself one!
For Naleigh’s hat I used Super Soft Merino in Super Pink and Oyster Gray. For Adalaide’s I used Pistachio Green and Heirloom White. I had plenty of the green leftover from Madison’s hat and just enough of the white for the monogram so I reversed the colors for a second hat. I was incredibly proud of myself for using up every drop of my yarn! That rarely happens for me!
